As we step into 2009, we celebrate and give thanks to God as we strive to accomplish our mission “to awaken and deepen faith” by sharing in prayer with our donors for all the Intentions entrusted to us. Our mission is needed today more than ever as people struggle with everyday issues, health problems, the economy and grief.

Although the 42 acre site of the Retreat House and Spirituality Center in Warrenville was sold to the DuPage County Forest Preserve in the summer of 2008, the Prayer Enrollment Office continues to be an active part of the Warrenville community working from office space just a few blocks away from our former home. Sr. Joyce Kemp continues to reside in Warrenville offering personal spiritual direction and all the Cenacle sisters around the world continue to pray daily for all those enrolled. After 70 years in Warrenville, the Cenacle Sisters and staff continue to reach out to help you express your faith and love of the Lord through prayer from our new office space.

Interactive retreats are available at the Cenacles in Houston TX and Metairie LA. Hospitality groups and Individual retreats can reserve space at the Chicago Cenacle Conference Center.

Few can argue against the power of prayer. What better way to tell someone they are loved and remembered than with a special Cenacle card. Masses are offered every month for all those enrolled and they are remembered in the daily prayers of the Sisters. Our cards and folders are a truly unique spiritual gift with the name hand lettered in gold by a Cenacle calligrapher.

The kingdom of God is within us and we are the temple where God dwells. The body of Christ and its life is the responsibility of everyone in it, not just the priests, monks, and sisters who have dedicated their lives to God. Through our prayer ministry we share our Christian faith, strengthen our spiritual lives and allow our hearts to experience the joy of living. Our circle of prayer reaches around the world and we share prayers with you for all those enrolled in our prayer ministry.
